Clean. Functional. Usable. Beautiful.

I found my calling in Web and graphic design by accident! After picking up rudimentary HTML skills while on vacation in San Francisco in 1996, what started out as a few pages of text eventually grew into a burgeoning full-service site devoted to English Premier League club, Everton, which today, is the daily destination for 25,000+ people and remains the primary showcase of my Web resumé.

Work followed for a range of companies, from The Daily Telegraph and Sony PlayStation in London, to multinational IT hardware firm, Madge Networks, dotcom agency Quidnunc and, folllowing the acquisition of FTP, Inc. in 2006, 1105 Media Inc. It has given me 11 years' experience of designing, developing and implementing professional websites for a wide cross-section of clients and companies and I now offer a multi-discipline skillset that includes Print Design, Interface Design for the Web, and Standards-Compliant XHTML and CSS implementation.

My emphasis is always on clean, attractive design and I have, in the past couple of years, moved away entirely from the out-dated practice of table-based layouts towards more semantic, standards-based markup that is easier to code and maintain and makes each site more future-proof.

I'm fortunate to have a fairly wide spectrum of projects which serve as my creative outlet, from instructional IT and design conferences to magazines, and news/community sites like my own soccer website.
